This scheme works on book recommendation, and does not cost you anything. For instance, if you recommend – ‘The Friendly Robot Conspiracy’, you will get 14% of the deal when someone buys it using your link. (see below).
The upside of this is there is almost no limit to how many times you can do this, e.g. – if you offer the book to 100 people, and 1/10th buy via your link, you will then get almost $6 for doing very little – in fact you will be thanked by the grateful readers. Who then go on to buy more (it is a series), for which you get paid again.
This system is made possible by the internet and digital publishing. It means that there is no stock to keep, no-one actually handles anything. So, if you have contacts in China, India, Canada, Switzerland, or anywhere, they are all potential customers.

Join Smashwords – it is free, and there is no obligation.
When you have a Smashwords user name, add it on to the web address of the book concerned. This is then used by the reader to buy the book, and Smashwords will pay you 11% within 48 hours. But do not forget to use your username. The first of the series is placed at 14%.
